Small problems, small apps
Share a small problem. Get a small app.
CobbleWorks turns everyday annoyances into tiny free web apps. 41 are on the shelf — open one without signing in.
41mini apps on the shelf
- Nothing to install
- Keeps working offline
- Every line of source is public
The gap
Too small for an app. Too annoying to ignore.
Nobody ships a product for this. So someone here builds a tiny one instead, and leaves it on the shelf for you.
- “I forget the same thing every single trip.”
- “I never notice the shampoo is out until it's out.”
- “I lose the reading streak the moment I stop counting.”
How it works
Three steps, one shelf.
Step 1 and 2 need a Google sign-in. Step 3 never does.
- 01 Post the problem Plain words, one sentence. No spec needed.
- 02 Someone builds it A maker takes it off the board and ships it.
- 03 It lands on the shelf Free for everyone, from then on.
Why it feels light
Nothing to set up. Nothing to lose.
- Opens in the browser No install, no app store. Once it has loaded, every app keeps working with the wifi off.
- Your data stays on your device Saved in your own browser. Sign in only if you want the same list on your phone too.
- One request, one app Nothing here was built on a hunch. Every app exists because somebody asked for it.
- Real accounts behind every post Requests, ratings and comments need a Google sign-in. That is what keeps the board free of junk and anonymous abuse.
On the shelf
Pick one up. It opens straight away.
- Restock PlannerLog what's left, see when it runs out.
- Shopping ListSorted by aisle. Tick things into the basket.
- Habit TrackerBuild a habit one day at a time.
- Packing ListEverything for the trip, sorted by category.
- Reading StreakKeep the streak alive, one page at a time.
- QR GeneratorTurn any link into a QR code, offline.
Before you ask
The four questions everyone has.
Is it actually free?
Yes. There is no paid tier, no trial, and no plan to add one.
Do I need an account?
Not to browse, and not to use any of the apps. Posting a request, rating an app, leaving a comment or claiming a build signs you in with Google — an anonymous board fills up with abuse, and a name next to a post stops that.
Where does my data go?
Into your own browser. Nothing leaves your device unless you sign in and ask for it on a second device.
Can I build one?
Yes — that is the point. Take a request off the board, ship a small app, put it on the shelf.
Two ways in
It starts with something small that annoys you.
Whichever side of it you are on, the first move is the same.
Both take a Google sign-in. Nothing else is asked of you.
